I initially hired Vasi Popa in May 2022 for the construction of a medium sized garden music studio. It was a tricky job as to fulfil planning permission we had to dig down a long way without machinery access. We’re very happy with the concrete cavity wall result, it’s very solid, nice looking, weather proof, was great value for money and was finished quicker than we expected.
Vasi went on to redesign and build our lovely new kitchen, lay a beautiful patio and really help our downstairs damp problem by creating ventilation channels underneath the new heated flooring.
I’m very happy to recommend Vasi for any construction job big or small. He’s fun to have around and has lots of problem-solving ideas. He’ll finish your job speedily, to a high standard and for a good price.

Vasile and his team are extremely hard workers, who are willing to put the extra hours in to achieve the high level finishes we require. Having completed a number of projects together, we have seen first hand All in One Build’s dedication to their craft. We would recommend them to anyone looking to appoint a contractor for a construction project.

Dear Vasi
I just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you again for the work you and your team undertook for me in my home. I have never had building work completed for me before, so this was a pleasantly good introduction to builders! I very much appreciated both the level of workmanship, and the level of respect shown in my home. I’d not have a moment’s hesitation in recommending you to others and I thought it might be a good idea to write this email of reference, for you to include with other references when you are speaking to other clients and potential clients.
My loft space is now filled with suitcases and other boxes, and finally I have storage space. I am really very grateful. Thank you.

Vasi,
I went to the flat last night to find your “welcome to your new home” gift and card. Thank you.
Being there last night I have a sense of enormous gratitude to you and your guys for the tremendous job, effort, dedication, skill and care that you have put in to create my new home.
It would not be as beautiful as it is without all your hard work, dedication and skilled workmanship.
More than the material bricks and mortar, I have come away from the intense journey of building, feeling an inner richness for which I only have you to thank.
Wishing you the season’s greetings and I trust that you will have some time away from work to enjoy life.
With much gratitude.

Vasi carried out the work to a very high standard and finish.
He was always early and worked sometimes long hours to complete the work. Equally he was very helpful in useful design advice and in securing the best possible price on new materials.
He comes with my highest recommendation and I would be happy to be contacted to discuss the work he carried out.

My wife and two year old son were home during the first week of work and found Vasi and his team very polite and respectful. During the second week we left a key with him and were contacted when any clarification was required, they always cleaned up and left the house in very reasonable condition even when they were leaving at 8 at night.
Vasi took the time to understand what we as a clients wanted, he came up with fantastic ideas and offered solutions when problems arose. We found him very honest and trustworthy, he also supplied receipts for anything he bought.

Vasile has a wealth of experience and has a keen insight into the current building regulations relating to extensions and outbuildings. Vasile was involved in all aspects of our 2021/2022 project: 3m kitchen extension with pitched roof, remodelling of separate toilet & bathroom into a larger single bathroom, construction of a summer house (shed and office), laying tiles throughout the whole of the downstairs, repainting the ground floor and 1st floor of our house. Vasile is an honest worker and will be very direct in letting you know what will be achievable with the money you wish to spend, Vasile has always provided alternatives to achieving the desired results and respected our final decisions and always did his best to achieve the desired outcome, as well as offering many alternatives/options to achieving the desired finish. Vasile is in the same league as “master builders”, as he can undertake major structural changes all the way through to finishing work. Though also has a good network of specialist tradesmen that he brought onboard for the more specialist work (i.e. bi-folding doors and steel beams). Vasile did not take on another project while on our project. So no occurrence of unexplained "no shows". If you expect to pay the least amount of money for the work you wish to commission, then Vasile is not the contractor for you; as Vasile works to a high standard using quality products. Valise is a contractor that we have no hesitation in recommending to our friends and family. recommend.

Vasi & his team opened out a fireplace for us and then made repairs to our house after electrical works were carried out, before decorating it all. Brilliant service and great value for money. Would definitely recommend and I’m sure I’ll be using them again!

I am a returning customer, where the previous work for us was during 2021 for a kitchen extension, garden landscaping, and building a garden office. This time the job was for a front garden renovation in February 2024. This covered: clearing the front garden completely apart from a 2 meter Condyline Red plant/tree, laying paving stones with a new drainage channel (due to sloping garden), bespoke building of wooden fence and wooden gate, damp proofing of the front bay windows, and repainting the small porch. Vasile was extremely help in providing many great ideas on the design of the front garden, as well as what may or may not enhance the look of the garden. As usual, Valise displayed a very high standard of work and tremendous work ethics.

"Vasile came in and was clear on what the problem was and gave options. Him and his co worker did a fantastic job and was very thorough. He cleaned as he went which made things easier for us and was informative of the process. He did the job faster than we thought and we are very happy with his service. I will definitely recommend and use him again."

I have worked with Vasi since 2008 on a number of projects and find him to be a very reliable and diligent professional. He always arrives to work on time and progresses quickly to ensure each project is completed to a very high standard and on time. He always goes the ‘extra mile’ in suggesting improvements to any design and often recommends the use of better materials to ensure that the final work retains it quality over time.
